When you look at the size, look, and in-ring ability, Duncum Jr had the tools to become a star, but because Duncum Jr was taken from the wrestling world too soon, we will never find out what could have been for the big Texan.

Duncum Jr would form a tag team with Johnny Hawk known as The Texas Mustangs and win the GFW Tag Team Championships against the Rough Riders (Black Bart and Jonny Mantell). A few months later, the Mustangs would lose the title to The Bed Breed (Axl and Ian Rotten) and the team would disband.

After a two-year hiatus from wrestling, Duncum Jr would make his in-ring return with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) teaming up with Gary Albright, Joel Deaton in a winning effort against Eagle, Lacrosse, and The Patriot. Duncum Jr would wrestle in single and six-man tag team matches for the next two years with AJPW and would make appearances with Continental Wrestling Alliance. In 1997, Duncum Jr would debut with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and would split time between AJPW and ECW. His last match in ECW was in a loss to Mikey Whipwreck in 1998, and later in 1998 he would wrap up his time in AJPW in a tag team match where he would team with Stan Hansen in a losing effort against Gary Albright and Yoshihiro Takayama.

In November 1998, Duncum Jr would debut on as a fan favourite with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in a win against the WCW World Television Championship, Chris Jericho, but would not win the title as Jericho got himself counted out. Six days later Duncum Jr would meet Jericho at World War 3 for the title but would lose via pinfall. Duncum Jr would defeat Jericho twice during house shows before ending his feud with Jericho in defeat during an episode of Thunder. Following his feud with Jericho, Duncum Jr would form a tag team with Mike Enos, the team with short-lived and by 1999 Duncum Jr had become a villain and joined The West Texas Rednecks.

With the West Texas Rednecks, Duncum Jr would wrestle mainly in singles matches on Saturday Night and Thunder against members of Master P’s No Limit Soldiers, a faction who The West Texas Rednecks were feuding with at the time. Duncum Jr would try to win the WCW World Television title again, but this time against Booker T but fall short. Duncum Jr and Henning would team up to lose to Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr at The Great American Bash and would lose against to the No Limit Soldiers at Bash at the Beach. Following the end of their feud with the No Limit Soldiers, The West Texas Rednecks would lose to The Revolution (Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn, and Shane Douglas) at Road Wild, and twelve days later, Duncum J would make his final appearance with WCW as part of six-man tag match with the Windhams in lose to The Filthy Animals (Eddy Guerrero, Kidman, and Rey Mysterio Jr). Pro Wrestling's Mount Rushmore

In sports, the debate continues to rage as fans discuss who is the greatest of all-time or who should is on their Mount Rushmore in a specific sport, and it is no different in professional wrestling. Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair in WCW For me, the greatest wrestling of all-time is Ric Flair. Flair had the ability on the mic to cut amazing promos, his in-ring work was fantastic, and he had the “IT” factor. As for my Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling, I would have Ric Flair, Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, and the fourth spot I feel is interchangeable, but I go with Andre the Giant. Since the mid-1970s, Ric Flair has used the moniker “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, and is regarded as one of the best all-round talents in the wrestling business of all-time. Flair had a 40-year career, spanning from 1972 until 2012, and has noted tenures with Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, later WWE) and Total Nonstop Action Wres...
